As with any other part of the body, the skin of the abdomen can lose its elasticity over time.
In addition to the forces of gravity and time, our mid-section is a common place for fat storage. Throw weight gain and loss into the time-plus-gravity mix and you have a great recipe for loose, excess skin hanging around.
For those who have managed to finally rid themselves of that extra weight only to be left with that loose skin, the accomplishment can feel a bit hollow. Doctors like Dr. Kent Gabriel, a board certified plastic surgeon in Carson City, are able to help, however. A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, is a procedure designed to remove that extra skin left behind by lost fat. You can arrange a consultation with Dr. Gabriel to discuss a tummy tuck in Carson City.

When considering a neck lift surgery there are a few different things you should think about. Have you noticed the effect of and and gravity on your face and neck or do you just want to improve the shape of your neck? Are your muscles and other tissues slowly drooping, causing your skin to sag? Things like this may effect someone self confidence and can easily be fixed with a neck lift surgery.
Not too long ago I was asking myself these same questions and it wasn’t until I learned about necklift surgery on Nabavian.com that I decided I wanted to get this procedure done for myself. The website was very informative and told me everything I would need to know in order to make a big decision such as this.

Why consider breast augmentation surgery? Ask two people, even of the same sex, and you’ll probably get two answers.
Of course, the most important reasons for having or not having cosmetic surgery should come from the recipient. Volume lost to pregnancy, position lost to time and gravity, and an imbalance in size from one side to the other are all common reasons to seek a breast augmentation procedure. So is reconstruction following other types of surgery.
Dr. Marc Mani, a well-known Beverly Hills plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, offers breast augmentation surgery in Los Angeles, CA. As each case is unique and personal, Dr. Mani takes time to consult with each patient. It is important both for the surgeon to understand the goals and condition of the patient, and for the patient to understand the risks and rewards of her choices, so that the best course for her can be selected.

Rhinoplasty is a plastic surgery procedure that changed my life. I was born with an abnormally large nose that caused my face to look very out of balance and a few months ago I decided that now that I have finished growing, now would be a good time to search for a plastic surgery procedure to possibly reshape my nose and make it smaller so that it might be more balanced with the rest of my face.
I decided to search the internet and while I was searching I found a site called www.nabavian.com and on that site I learned that “Rhinoplasty, or surgery to reshape the nose, is one of the most common of all plastic surgery procedures. Rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of your nose, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the angle between your nose and your upper lip. It may also correct a birth defect or injury, or help relieve some breathing problems.”
I was very relieved to find out that there was a procedure that seemed to be perfect for what I wanted to accomplish and I decided to talk to a plastic surgeon near me and have this procedure done.
It has now been 3 months since the surgery and I am extremely happy with the results.

Rhinoplasty is a plastic surgery procedure that can reshape your nose to be more balanced with the rest of your face. Rhinoplasty can also be used to open up nasal airways that previously made it hard for you to breathe. I wish that I had learned about Rhinoplasty earlier because it has changed my life in so many ways.
A few months ago I broke my nose and because of the way it healed, my nose developed a large lump on top and it became hard to breathe through my nose also. It wasn’t until a few weeks ago that a friend of mine informed me of a website that could teach me everything I needed to know about a plastic surgery procedure that could fix my nose and get rid of all my problems with it.
I decided to take a look at that website that he referred me to which was my-plastic-surgeon.com and on that website I learned about Rhinoplasty and how “Presently it is one of the most popular aesthetic surgery procedures in the United States. Although most of the patients are young, there are no contraindications based on age. Unlike many aesthetic procedures, rhinoplasty is not performed for rejuvenation, but to fundamentally change appearance.”
This was just the information I needed to be able to know that this was what I wanted to do, and now that I have had it done I am already extremely happy with the results and my breathing issues are gone also.

There are a lot of male breast reduction patients who are men that never lost their extra bit of puffiness in their chest that they had while going through puberty. According to Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, Dr. Steven Teitelbaum who performs male breast reduction in Beverly Hills, these people cannot see the outline of their pecs no matter what they do, even if they are fit or work out. Other men that may have this problem may be a result of steroid use for weight lifting. These steroids can cause a rapid growth of breast tissue. For the men that weight lift, they can usually feel a very firm “marble” or “walnut.” Many other men suffer from woman-like breasts as a side-effect of some recreational drugs or prescription medications.

Unfortunately I am aging much faster than I would prefer and it is starting to take a toll on my face, specifically my eyebrows. Over time my eyebrows have sagged to the point that I look angry or upset all the time.
Fortunately I have a friend that taught me about a website called drpecunia.com where I learned about Brow Lift Surgery and how it “minimizes the creases that develop across the forehead, or those that occur high on the bridge of the nose between the eyes; improves what are commonly referred to as frown lines; repositions a low or sagging brow that is hooding the upper eyelid, and raises the eyebrows to a more alert and youthful position.”
The plastic surgery information from this website was exactly what I needed to learn to know that this was the perfect way for me to potentially look much younger and I am now very excited to receive this surgery sometime in the near future

As a man who himself has been frustrated with shirts clinging to his chest, Dr. Teitelbaum will be able to relate to what you tell him about how gynecomastia bothers you.
The development of gynecomastia, also called “man-boobs,” is more common than you may think, and happens to most men to one extent or another. It’s important to remember that there are always options, and Dr. Teitelbaum will discuss yours with you. Like tailoring a fine suit, male breast reduction surgery is about creating a more handsome, sculpted chest.
There are two main types of tissue involved in gynecomastia, one of which does not respond well to liposuction, so it should come as no surprise that multiple techniques are often used in tandem to accomplish the goal. Fatty tissue can be liposuctioned away, whereas the tougher, fibrous tissue often associated with gynecomastia must be excised. Dr. Teitelbaum will help you become familiar with the pros and cons, as well as how your unique physique will affect your male breast reduction surgery.

Breast reduction surgery, also known as reduction mammaplasty, is a surgical procedure performed to remove excess fat, glandular tissue and skin from the breasts. Many women with large breasts choose to have breast reduction surgery to alleviate pain and discomfort or to achieve a breast size that is more proportionate with her body. Breast reduction surgery can also help improve self-image and self-confidence, as well as your ability active physically.
If you are considering breast reduction surgery, it is important to consult an experienced plastic surgeon regarding surgical details including any possible risks or complications involved and to set expectations that are realistic.

Signs like the lowering of one’s voice, starting to shave, or developing an Adam’s Apple are all signs of masculinity, so is a flat and strong looking chest. It is humiliating to have a chest that looks even the slightest bit feminine. Many women seek breast augmentation because they say, “I look like a boy and just want to feel feminine.” And though men never make the opposite statement – probably because the words are too hard to say – it is probably in the back of their minds. Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, Dr. Steven Teietelbaum, performs male breast reduction at his Beverly Hills male breast reduction surgery center. As shy as some flat-chested women are about men seeing their chest naked, they tend not to have the same level of shame or humiliation as do men with gynecomastia. It is very common that even men with the mildest forms of gynecomastia never want to take their shirt off, wear loose clothes over a tight undershirt, and spend time in front of a mirror pushing their chest back to make it look flatter.

Breast augmentation, more commonly referred to as augmentation mammoplasty is a plastic surgery procedure that is used to enhance the shape and size of a woman’s breasts for many different reasons. According to Dr. Ameen Habash, a Palm Desert plastic surgeon, the reasons include but are not limited to: To balance a difference in size between two breasts; to enhance the body contour of a woman who feels her breast size is too small; to correct breast volume after a woman loses volume due to pregnancy; as a reconstructive procedure following any other breast surgery. By placing an implant behind each breast, plastic surgeons are capable of increasing the bust-line of a woman by one or more bra cup sizes.

If you are looking for a great way to unwind and forget all the worries and stresses that life gives you, it may be time for to visit a plastic surgery medical spa. Not only can you lose yourself mentally, you can actually heal yourself physically as well. Medical spas are a great place to get a massage, facial or other skin treatment by the experts. Many men and women that have had plastic surgery procedures done choose to go to a spa for post surgical treatment or to enhance other parts of their body that may not require surgery to be done.
Many medical spas offer a variety of services such as facial treatments, skin care procedures, BOTOX and other non-surgical injectables. In fact many plastic surgeons either have a medical spa in their facility or have partnered with the best spa in their area.
If you feel that visiting a medical spa is the right way for your to relax, take a look at the St. Louis Medical Spa. With an amazing spa, friendly doctors and staff, you are sure to find the peace and tranquility your were looking for.

There are many factors that will take their toll upon a woman’s breasts after many years. These factors include nursing and pregnancy and the force of gravity. When the skin loses its elasticity, the breasts will usually lose some of their shape and firmness and begin to sag. A plastic surgery procedure known as a mastopexy, or breast lift, is designed to fight against those affects of aging. The procedure will raise and reshape sagging breasts at least for a time.
A breast lift surgery can also reduce the size of a woman’s areola which is the darker skin that is around the nipple. In the case that your breasts have lost volume or are small, breast implants inserted during the procedure can greatly increase their size and their firmness.
According to Palm Desert plastic surgeon, Dr. Ameen Habash, the biggest reason that a woman seeks a breast lift is because nursing and pregnancy have left them with less volume and stretched skin in their breasts. If a woman is planning on having children, or more children, she should postpone the idea of having a breast lift until after she is done having children. There are no special risks that would affect a future pregnancy (mastopexy generally does not interfere with breast-feeding), pregnancy is more than likely going to stretch your breasts again and remove the results of the procedure.

The technique commonly known as MOHS Surgery or MOHS Excision is a method designed by a general surgeon Dr. Frederick Mohs. It is now commonly performed by dermatologists and specialists in MOHS Surgery who have completed additional training in the MOHS technique.
The technique involves a unique form of handling, processing and reading the tissue under the microscope to make sure that the margins of the excision are clear of any cancer cells. It is very reliable and uses very thin, small excisions in a step-wise fashion in order to spare the tissue surrounding the lesion. Normally the technique is used for squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma of the face, and is best used in areas near important structures such as the eyelids, nose, and ears. The MOHS specialist can remove a layer of tissue, and then examine the layer under the microscope while the patient waits, and then remove more tissue as needed.
The MOHS reconstruction can then be performed by a plastic and reconstructive surgeon or by the MOHS surgeon, depending on how complex the defect is. If you have further questions or would like to schedule a consultation, contact Seattle plastic surgeon, Dr. Jeff Scott today.

A normal part of the aging process is that wrinkles and puffiness around the eyes contribute to an older, tired appearance. The eyes are among the first things noticed about a person, so it stands to reason that whether old and tired or young and energetic, judgments about the eyes will extend to the person. Eyelid surgery (officially called blepharoplasty) is a procedure performed to give the eyes a visual pick-me-up.
Dr. Kimball M. Crofts performs eyelid surgery in Utah. When performing blepharoplasty, Dr. Crofts makes small incisions in the natural contours around the eyes where any scars will be less noticeable. Fatty tissue is removed and loose skin is tightened, occasionally using laser to smooth the lower lids. If you are contemplating cosmetic surgery in Utah, you should schedule a consultation with Dr. Crofts to discuss your goals and how you reach them.

I am a big fan of the out-doors and being in the sun a lot and over time the elements have taken a toll on my skin, especially my facial skin. It had gotten so bad that it was difficult for me to look at myself in the mirror. I eventually became so sick of the way I look that I decided I would do something about it and search the internet for something to make my face look better.
While searching the internet I found a site called Keycare.com and on that website I learned about Laser Skin Resurfacing and how “The new CO2 pulse lasers are effective for treating fine wrinkles that occur with aging and exposure to the elements. We are using them for blepharoplasty and facial resurfacing either with or without facelift surgery. The laser also treats the vertical wrinkles that occur in the upper lip area. This new method for Laser Skin Resurfacing takes advantage of the ability of the laser to penetrate the skin to a precise depth. The consistency and degree of penetration affords an even effect over the entire treated area. The superficial skin is shed and new skin regenerates, providing a fresher, smoother appearance.”
Soon after I was able to receive one of these procedures and I can say that I am very glad that I decided to do something about the way I look.

Over the past year or so, I have tried to exercise and diet to get rid of fat in certain parts of my abdomen. The problem is, that no matter how hard I try to get rid of it, there are problem areas that continue to be unaffected by the dieting and exercise. I finally decided that it would be worth my time to search for some sort of plastic surgery procedure that could possibly get rid of this extra fat that I could not get rid of myself.
While searching the internet I found a website called DoctorRose.com and on that site I learned about Abdominoplasty and how it “is performed to give the patient a smooth, lower belly contour. This is usually necessary after multiple pregnancies, major weight loss, or minor weight gain. Exercise and dieting often can not effectively control the “pooching out” of this area as the tissues have been too excessively stretched.”
As I read more about this procedure I came to the conclusion that his was just what I needed to get rid of my problem and so I called up the surgeons office and set up and consultation to talk about my abdominoplasty surgery, and now I am well on my way to receiving an abdominoplasty surgery of my own.

When considering Blepharoplasty, there are a few questions you should ask yourself. Do you look angry or upset because of how puffy your eyelids are, or how your eyelids droop? Do you look tired when you are really fully rested? For a while I was asking myself these same questions and often thought about if it would be worth it for me to get a blepharoplasty surgery done. Before I could decide if I wanted to have it done or not I decided to search the internet for more information on this procedure so I could be more sure that this was what I wanted.
While searching the internet I found a website called zahircosmetics.com and on that site I learned how “As we age, our eyelids stretch, muscles weaken and fat accumulates, all of which can lead to “a tired look” around the eyes. Eyelid surgery treats both the loose skin and fat below the eyes, commonly called “bags.”
After reading more about this procedure I was very confident that this was what I wanted to have done, and I am very excited to see the results.
